You can now marvel over more than 100 baby Blanding’s turtles—an endangered North American species—at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. The museum’s newest arrivals measure about one inch and weigh less than an ounce. And they are precious.
The new baby turtles will live at the Nature Museum for up to two years so they have a chance to grow in a predator-free environment before being released into the wild. You can also get a glimpse of the tiny turtles here.
