This winter, the Lincoln Park Zoo welcomed eight Japanese macaques, also known as snow monkeys, to the park's new Regenstein Macaque Forest. On April 2, the public will be able to get a glimpse of these cute creatures when the zoo's newest attraction celebrates its grand opening. The Macague Forest features a hot tub, trees and rock formations and will allow visitors to observe as behavioral scientists begin working with the monkeys to develop an understanding of how these primates think, learn and feel. One of the activities scientists will introduce to the monkeys is a touchscreen computer, which means that it's only a matter of time before these furry little guys get hooked on Netflix, just like every other highly-evolved species.
