Looks like Fulton Market will soon have more burgers than residents. According to Eater, Kuma’s Corner will open its fifth location in February, inside Brooklyn Bowl’s imminent Chicago location (832-856 W Fulton Market). Setting up shop in the West Loop, Kuma’s will be cozying up to fellow red meat powerhouses like The Publican and Au Cheval.
The Avondale metal bar serves up giant, flavor-packed burgers that really are worth the (inevitable) wait. For instance, the Led Zeppelin Burger is topped with bacon, pork shoulder, barbecue sauce, cheddar and pickles—can you tell I haven't eaten lunch yet today? We don’t have details on the Fulton Market concept yet, but given the success of Kuma’s Too—and presumably of its Schaumburg and Indianapolis locations as well—we’re pretty pumped.
We’ll be sure to update you on the burger-per-capita ratio of Fulton Market once the numbers come through in February. But in any case, we’re sure it’ll be covered in the 2020 census.
