Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant was unanimously voted NL Rookie of the Year by the Baseball Writers' Association today, just confirming what we've known for awhile: He is good.

Bryant absolutely ran away with the vote, netting all 30 first place votes for a total of 150 points—the next closest player was the Giants' Matt Duffy, with 70 points. Bryant was the 20th player of all time to win the award unanimously. Last season, Jose Abreu unanimously won the award for AL Rookie of the Year for the White Sox.

Bryant's debut year was outstanding, with 26 homers and 99 RBIs, and he's just one of the reasons we're already counting down to next season.
