Intro, Lettuce Entertain You's restaurant known for its quarterly rotating chefs, has hired a permanent executive chef, Stephen Gillanders. Gillanders is currently the chef-in-residence at Intro and has changed things up a bit since entering the kitchen, including serving an a la carte menu.
Never fear, Intro lovers: While Lettuce Entertain You is bringing on Gillanders full time, chefs-in-residence will still cycle through the kitchen. The chef-in-residence will work with Gillanders to reformat and modify Gillanders' a la carte menu to create a cohesive menu between both chefs. Intro will also showcase the chef-in-residence's own separate menu as well. The idea is to create a restaurant that you can go back to and find dishes you love, while continually being able to have a new experience.
Chef Jessica Largey (formerly of contemporary restaurant, Manresa in Los Gatos, California) will be Intro's next chef-in-residence, beginning on February 8. Largey is a Southern California native and is creating a California-inspired menu with a focus on vegetables. The menu will be offered a la carte at first, with a family-style menu becoming available on February 15.
