The long-awaited and oft-teased Bunny, the Micro Bakery from chef Iliana Regan (the woman behind foraged dining destination Elizabeth) opened its doors at 2928 N Broadway Ave this morning. The bakery's extensive opening menu includes boules ($10), toast ($2-$4), composed toasts and tartines ($5-$12) and a variety of larger dishes such as corn spaetzle with a bone reduction ($9). All menu items are house-made, and Regan is aiming for all dishes to be available, but includes a disclaimer that they're subject to change, and may run out throughout the day.
The bakery is open from 7am-3pm Wednesday through Sunday. You can swing by this weekend and grab any of Regan's sure-to-be-delicious offerings for breakfast, drink cup of mushroom tea or choose from a variety of Rare Tea Cellar selections.
