Here's what we know about the new Beer Temple Taproom

Two years in the making, we finally have a few more details on the upcoming taproom by the Beer Temple's Chris Quinn. Our friends at Guys Drinking Beer recently published a story that goes into great detail about the new taproom, set to open in mid-June. The taproom will be located just a few doors down from the Beer Temple's current digs (the whole facility is moving to a new space in the same building), with 20 tap lines and an option to cask beer with temperature control—no more freezing beers that should be served slightly warmer.

You can think of the place as a modern slashie, with the same great selection of beer coming from the Beer Temple and a taproom where you can sit down and enjoy a draft. The new space will allow for more cold storage, keeping beers that are shipped refrigerated at a low temperature and preserving sought-after bottles. The space will be divided into two sections, one with the shop and one for the bar area, so while it's all under the same roof, there will be a distinct purpose for each space.

On top of all that, you'll be able to bring in food from nearby restaurants, take classes (think Beer 101 classes and study groups) or drink Dark Matter coffee, wine, craft sodas and a small selection of spirits. A beer haven, workspace and classroom with a selection of some of the best bottles in the city? We can't wait for this place to open.
