Nominations for this year’s Love Chicago Awards are now open! What are the Love Chicago Awards, exactly? They're your chance to tell us about the restaurants, bars, cafés, coffee shops, stores and cultural venues that make your part of the city amazing. To share your two cents, go here and click on the "nominate" button to tell us which local venues you love the most. You can search for your neighborhood, select your favorite spots (or add a venue if the place you love isn't already listed) and nominate.
So spill the beans, already. Consider this your invitation to shout your support for your favorite local places from the proverbial rooftops. Nominations close September 30, at which point the most-nominated venues in each category will go head-to-head in a public vote in October (full details can be found in our Love Chicago Awards FAQs). Oh, and if you’re the traveling type, the Love Awards are global, so you can also show a little love for your fave places in Paris, Lisbon, London, New York and LA.
