After one bowl of ramen, I usually feel like a bloated bag of hot broth—while I'm a fan of the Japanese soup, I can't imagine slurping down multiple servings. Furious Spoon is apparently banking on the assumption that there are people out there who are willing to indulge in multiple bowls of ramen in one day, because it's offering up all-you-can-eat ramen on eight afternoons in September.
For $25, guests will be able to sit down at Furious Spoon's Wicker Park or Logan Square locations and consume as much ramen as their hearts desire, choosing from five variations of the dish. The all-you-can-eat deal is being offered September 5–8 and 12–15, from 11am to 6pm each day. Of course, there are a few rules associated with the offer: You'll need to show the staff an empty bowl to get your next dose of noodles and broth, bowls cannot be shared with other people and (it almost goes without saying) you won't be able to bring any uneaten ramen home with you.
If you're the kind of person who jumped at the chance to dig into all-you-can-eat pizza at Eataly, you might be interested in consuming several times your daily recommended sodium intake at Furious Spoon. As for us? We'll stick to sampling more reasonable portions of Chicago's best ramen and marveling at anyone with a stomach that can accommodate more than a single bowl of the stuff.
