Following building permit delays that forced the Factory Theater to postpone its planned season opener at its new Rogers Park home last fall, the venue is finally ready to open in March, the company says.
All three new plays announced for the 2015–16 season will go forward, beginning with Ernie Deak's ’70s crime caper The Last Big Mistake, March 25–April 30. Mike Ooi's Dating and Dragons, about an RPG enthusiast rolling the dice on a relationship, follows July 8–August 13.
The previously postponed horror comedy Zombie Broads, by Corrbette Pasko and Sara Sevigny, will now open the 2016–17 season, running October 21–November 26. The remainder of next season will be announced at a later date.
