Cheese curds, craft beer and Wisconsin old-fashioneds. These are the whimsical things that make up Wisconsin (and we love going to Wisconsin, especially Madison and Door County). And, you'll get to try them without leaving Chicago this weekend at the "Wisconsin Weekend in Chicago."

Start early on Thursday night at Millie's Supper Club from 6–10pm for a screening of "The Old Fashioned: The Story of the Wisconsin Supper Club" documentary, a supper club dinner and giveaways (reservations required). You'll learn about the homey Wisconsin supper clubs laced with brandy old-fashioneds before embarking on what's certain to be your next road trip—finding all of these family-owned spots.

On Saturday, head to Will's Northwoods Inn, Chicago's ultimate in Wisconsin bars, from 11am–4pm to meet this year's Musky Queen candidates at this year's Musky Fest, which celebrates none other than the Musky fish with food, beer and live music. Wear your Badgers gear—the game will be on as well.

Finish up the Wisconsin weekend with a Green Bay Packers party at Fatpour Tap Works from 11am–4pm on Sunday. The Packers are taking on the Jaguars and free cheese curds will be passed out to celebrate every Packers TD (and with Jordy Nelson and Aaron Rodgers playing, that'll happen a lot). You can also look forward to giveaways and a preview of "Cheeseheads: The Documentary."
