Lollapalooza's status as a four-day festival was not a fluke. It'll be back in the same format next year (and presumably for years to come). On Sunday night, C3 Presents confirmed the return of a four-day Lolla next year, which wasn't entirely surprising.

Last December, festival organizers announced that in celebration of its 25th anniversary, Lollapalooza would be adding an extra day for 2016. The festival went incredibly smoothly this year—with the exception of a painfully long entrance wait for general admission. Considering how much money there is to be made during a day at a music festival as large as Lollapalooza, one should expect four days of Lollapalooza in Grant Park to be a fixture for years to come.
God help us all if they ever add a fifth day.
