Online menswear retailer Combatant Gentlemen will have its first Chicago "pop-in" this weekend at Nordstrom at the Shops at North Bridge. The pop-up shop, Combat Gent's first in the Chicago market, comes ahead of an eventual brick-and-mortar store in the city, planned to open within the next two years.
Combat Gent, which offers tailored wool suits starting at $160 as well as ties, shirts and more, will have its full collection available to browse at Nordstrom on Saturday and Sunday, along with some limited-edition items available in-store only. You can make an appointment for a made-to-measure fitting with one of Combat Gent's stylists on-site between 10am and 8pm Saturday and 11am to 6pm Sunday.
From noon to 5pm both days, enjoy a beverage while you shop: There will be complimentary tastings of The Macallan single-malt Scotch on Saturday and Goose Island beers on Sunday.
