Good news, fellow gluttons. You no longer have to get your lazy selves up and leave your home in order to procure a Chipotle burrito. The popular Mexican chain announced to investors that they recently signed a deal with the delivery-service app Postmates to deliver burritos and other menu items to customers in the 67 cities where the app operates, which includes Chicago, Evanston, Skokie, Wilmette and Winnetka.
The major catch to this good news, however, is the high delivery fees that come with using this service. Delivery fees start at $4.99 per order and can reach as high as $7.99, which is almost the same cost as ordering a burrito itself. So when you decide to utilize this service, you're better off getting your other slovenly friends to go in on it with you. Once we find a way to install the United Center beer-bots into our homes, we'll never have another reason to go outside again.
