Last night, Chicago experienced the first severe storm of 2016, as wind whipped through the city, rain pelted down from the heavens and meteorologists warned of potential tornados. Thankfully, the system wasn't too out of the ordinary—some precipitation and loud thunder makes it feel like spring is almost here. If you were glued to the TV watching the Illinois Primary Election results roll in, you may have missed some of the spectacular lightning that was striking outside your window.
