Chicago's poke addiction is a very real thing. Further proof: Sushi bowl pioneer Aloha Poke has plans to open 14 new locations by the end of the year. It's an ambitious goal, but considering the constant lines at Aloha's four existing locations, it might not be such a crazy idea.
Right now, you can find the fish-stuffed bowls at stalls inside Revival Food Hall and Chicago French Market along with stand-alone locations in Lakeview and Evanston. Aloha's expansion plan includes new restaurants in Lincoln Park and Hyde Park next month, followed by locations in the Loop, Rogers Park, Naperville and inside the Shops at North Bridge. Here's a quick look at where you'll be able to find the new restaurants, according to Eater.
303 W Madison St
520 N Michigan Ave
818 W Fullerton Pkwy
5221 S Harper Ct
6460 N Sheridan Rd
215 S Washington St in Naperville
But that's just one step toward world domination—or, uh, total poke pandemonium. Look out for more Aloha Poke shops popping up around Chicago throughout the year.
