A Red Orchid Theatre will produce new plays by Brett Neveu and Ike Holter in the coming 2015–16 season, along with a rarely seen comedy by Tennessee Williams.

Shade Murray will direct both of the premieres, which will bookend the Old Town theater's season. Neveu's Pilgrims Progress (October 15–November 29) is a Thanksgiving comedy about a family steeped in tension and deceit; A Red Orchid artistic director Kirsten Fitzgerald will feature in the cast. It marks the eighth Red Orchid premiere for Neveu (The Opponent, Red Bud), who like Murray is a longtime ensemble member.

Rising talent Holter (Hit the Wall, Exit Strategy) makes his Red Orchid debut with Sender (April 14–May 29), about a young man who returns from the dead. Ensemble member Steve Haggard will star.

In the middle slot, ensemble member Dado will direct Williams's 1966 work The Mutilated (January 14–February 28), about a pair of women frenemies facing off in New Orleans. Ensemble member Mierka Girten is set to appear in the cast.
