Have you every looked up at the Chicago skyline and imagined how those towering skyscrapers were built? Soon, you'll be able to construct some of the city's most iconic buildings, albeit on a much smaller scale, with a new Lego set. Part of the Architecture Skyline series, this 444-piece set includes all the bricks you'll need to build miniature versions of Willis Tower, the John Hancock Center, the CNA tower and the Wrigley Building. There's also a Lego representation of the Michigan Avenue Bridge and tiny silver orb that stands in for the Bean.

The Chicago-inspired set will be released nationwide in January for $39.99, but you'll be able to find it beginning on December 11 at three area stores: The Chicago Architecture Foundation Shop (224 S Michigan Ave), the Lego store at Water Tower Place (835 N Michigan Ave) and the Legoland Discovery Center in Schaumburg (601 N Martingale Rd).

Whether you want something interesting to decorate your desk or were inspired by the intricate Lego models on display in the Museum of Science and Industry's "Brick by Brick" exhibition, this set will give you a constructive way to showcase your passion for some of Chicago's most beautiful buildings.
