Bottoms up, Chicago—Negroni Week is back. From June 6–12, bars all over the city will be participating in a week of imbibing guilt free, because a portion of the proceeds from sales of the bitter-yet-fantastic cocktail will be donated to a charity of the venue's choice. We've rounded up a few of our favorites, accompanied by the charity each drink will benefit so you can get your negroni on.
Parson's Chicken & Fish: Word on the street is it'll be hot this weekend. Really, really hot. So head out to the Parson's Chicken & Fish patio for the negroni slushie, made with Letherbee gin, Luxardo bitters, sweet vermouth and citrus to beat the heat. Charity: Un86d.
Lone Wolf: This bar's sgroppino flavor will be rotating throughout the season, but during Negroni Week you'll be able to order a negroni sgroppino, another icy selection topped with prosecco. Charity: Un86d.
Beef & Barley: Serving up a stellar draft negroni, Beef & Barley's rendition is made with Koval Dry Gin, Punt e Mes, Campari and Combier Apricot Liqueur. Charity: MaeBell Ward Foundation.
The Promontory: With a choice of three different negronis (a classic, one with mescal and a Boulevardier), the Promontory is a solid choice for sitting on the patio and whiling away the afternoon with wood-fired food and Campari-laced drinks. Charity: American Liver Foundation.
Moneygun: The new West Loop spot serves up a long list of classic cocktails done right, so begin your evening (or afternoon) by grabbing the negroni at Moneygun. Charity: National MS Society.
