Instead of paying the $11 to get into the 94th-floor Hancock Observatory, take the bullet-fast elevator up to this 96th-floor bar in the sky and drop that cash on a cocktail. The decor—a sort of circa-1987 Sharper Image look—is in dire need of an overhaul, but the panoramic, vertigo-inducing views of the twinkling city at night never get old.
