Something & Tonic Book Release and Pop-up Bar

Best known for his time behind the bar at Longman & Eagle and Green River, local bartender and booze expert Nick Kokonas is celebrating the release of his new book, Something & Tonic: A History of the World’s Most Iconic Mixer, with a pop-up at Avondale Bowl. Exploring the history tonic and packed with more than 60 cocktail recipes, the tome is helpful resource for anyone mixing drinks at home. Kokonas will be behind the bar during this pop-up and attendees will get a copy of the book, a tote bag filled with goodies, a ticket for a free cocktail from the book and a free spirits tasting. Capacity is limited and only pop-up attendees will be able to rent a bowling lane.
