For eons, Metra riders have survived on beer in a paper bag. Ovie caters to these on-the-go commuters with a quick-serve bar (and, um, attached chocolate shop). But it’s the real bar and surprisingly nice dining room in the back that make this place a godsend for anyone looking for civility in the bowels of Ogilvie Transportation Center. Despite the corporate ambiance, don’t be surprised if the seasoned bartender learns—and remembers—your name.
