Every Tuesday night, jazz legend Von Freeman attracts a crowd of admirers from all over the city, along with a cabal of eager-beaver instrument-toting youngsters who hope to get in on the end-of-the-show jam session. The rest of the week, the crowd thins to a group of neighborhood regulars.
