On weekends (when there’s live music) or when there’s a soccer game on, you’ll find handsome Romanian imports chowing down on the earthy cuisine of the motherland: platters of mititei (grilled sausages); fried kraut with bits of bacon fat; heaping bowls of polenta with feta; and pan-fried chicken wings. Any other time, it’s likely to be just you and namesake owner Nelly, the queen of amaretto stone sours.
