Time Out says

Taking over an old Polish tavern in Avondale, Central Park Bar comes from the folks behind bars like The Owl and Estelle's. Outside, you'll see a sign that's modeled after the Chicago Park District's signage, and inside you'll see that the 80-year-old wood bar is still intact. It's a cozy place to grab a drink and think about what this building has seen since it was constructed in the 1940s, but if it's warm enough to drink in the open air, you'll want to head for the patio.

An empty lot adjacent to the bar has been transformed into a 3,500 square-foot patio, complete with a covered bar (equipped with heaters for when it's chilly), picnic tables, porch swings, some outdoor games and a fire pit. It's a picturesque spot to sip a menu of classic cocktails or to order a beer. And just like other Four Entertainment Group bars, it boast a half-price happy hour Monday through Friday from 4–7pm.
