The hotel-lobby bar isn’t dead; it’s just renovated and full of international businesspeople typing furiously on their Androids. At least that’s the scene at Amuse, the lounge that emerged from the recent $10 million revamp of the Harry Weese–designed Swissôtel. Expect top-notch service, classy cocktails like a Negroni spritzer and surprisingly good snacks.
