Time Out says

Young Chicago and Los Angeles-based designer Jimenez Laiand organizes this group show which features more than 200 works that explore the limits of conceptual architecture and design. The pieces on display in "Treatise: Why Write Alone?" are sourced from a global cast of designers, using sound, images and text to propose new and challenging ways of thinking about architecture's purpose and function. As the name suggests, the exhibition will be accompanied by a series of printed treatises, which will be published in March 2015.
