The drawings, paintings and collages of Tony Fitzpatrick have graced the cover of records by the likes of Lou Reed, Steve Earle and the Neville Brothers. When he's not designing for musicians, the Chicago-based artist is usually drawing birds—his favorite source of inspiration. "The Secret Birds" (originally exhibited at the Poetry Foundation in 2014) collects some of Fitzpatrick's most recent avian-centric work, completed before he decided to pursue a degree in—you guessed it—ornithology.
