In the world of vernacular photograph—everyday snapshots taken by lesser-known photographers—there are few names more recognizable than Vivian Maier, a North Shore nanny whose extensive collection of amateur photographs were discovered posthumously. One of Maier's earliest fans was photo collector Ron Slattery, who curates this rotating show at the small Logan Square gallery, displaying pieces from his personal archive as well as selections from fellow collectors. The exhibition also features talks by photography scholars, a screening of home movies and a silent auction of vintage Vivian Maier photos.
