Instead of its usual monthly gallery show, multidisciplinary art space Comfort Station teams up with the Arts Leaders of Color Network in June, presenting programming that empowers individuals to stand against intolerance and injustice. Throughout the month, the Logan Square venue will host a variety of free artist– and community-led lectures, discussions and happenings centered around the themes of preparation, organization, wonderment, empowerment and resistance (P.O.W.E.R. for short). See Comfort Station's website for a complete schedule of events.
