"The Beast"

Chicago artist John Preus turns reclaimed objects (including furniture from recently closed Chicago Public Schools) into functioning figures. His latest structural installation takes the the form of a dead longhorn steer and will act as a community center, hosting performances and discussions throughout the duration of its exhibition.
