On the heels of the debut of a collection of his portraits on the Chicago Riverwalk, local street artist Dont Fret is already back with a new solo exhibition. Entitled "OFFICE SPACE FOR RENT," the show is hosted in a currently unoccupied office space on Belmont Avenue, just down the street from Schubas Tavern. The paintings contained within the show comment on office culture, the state of the world and the overwhelming uncertainty of what the future holds. Dont Fret has also painted a large mural that will fill the office's window, depicting the workers who once inhabited the space.
On display from September 12–27 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, the show is free and open to the pubilc, though you'll need to make a reservation to enter the space via Tock. No more than six people will be allowed in the space at a time and all guests will need to wear face coverings and practice social distancing.
