This event has been postponed to a later date.
Originally founded in 1971, the Hubbard Street Murals are a fixture of the West Loop, providing a canvas for rising artists to show off their skills and an outdoor gallery highlighting the work of local legends. Time Out Market Chicago is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the project with B_Line, the organization that now curates and preserves murals throughout the West Loop. During this night-long event, guests will be able to sit in on talks with B_Line chief curator Levar Hoard as well as a variety of local artists who have contributed their work. Time Out Market will also debut two new Love Local Art Murals in its stairwell and showcase a collection of plywood murals that were created on boarded-up buildings during the summer of 2020. The evening will conclude with a celebratory DJ set—and the first 50 guests to show up will receive a complimentary welcome cocktail.
