Chicago-based artists Mayumi Lake and Holly Cahill team up for a two-person exhibition that explores themes of change and impermanence. Lake explores her personal history as a Japanese immigrant, creating intricate works that incorporate Housage flowers, which are traditionally found at prayer sites in Japan. Cahill's textile work incorporates drawings and prints to create geometric represenations of portals that mark a threshold between two very different spaces. “Inter-Flux” in on display at the Epiphany Center for the Arts and can be viewed by booking an appointment on the center's website.
