The woodblock works of Hiroshige remind us there's pristine beauty to be found in winter landscapes. The Japanese master's ukiyo-e prints on display here—chosen from among 1600-some Hiroshige works in the AIC's collection—feature snow-shrouded hills, fields, and shrines and, like Japanese haiku, comment poetically on both nature's indomitable power and grace.
