"Environments and Counter Environments: Italy: The New Domestic Landscape"

Presented for the first time since 1972, this exhibition highlights the significance of the Museum of Modern Art's "Italy: the New Domestic Landscape," as well as Italian design and architecture in the 1970s. Besides analyzing the importance of the original exhibition, which was uniquely organized into two distinct categories-"Objects" and "Environments"-it also reassesses the possibilities of architecture and design.
