Between 8th and 13th of June, the Manuel Possolo Hippodrome extends its lawn to the long tables, stalls and stage of Santo António. Organised by Jovem Cascais, this festival promises bifanas, sardines, snails, caldo verde and farturas, as well as the kind of music you'd expect at this time of year: on the 9th Arrebimba o Malho sings, on the 10th it's Toy's turn, on the 11th Semibreve plays, on the 12th Carapau Azeite & Alho and on the 13th, to close on a high note, Quim Barreiros takes over. The programme kicks off on the 8th with the Cascais Marches, which parade from 6.30pm from the bay to the Hipódromo.
