One of the largest gym chains, Holmes Place is also present in Cascais, located within the Cascais Miragem Health & Spa Hotel. In addition to areas equipped with strength and cardio machines, Holmes Place offers a wide range of classes to get you moving. You can join Pilates, dance, aerobics, yoga, and cycling classes, among others. For those who don't have the patience for long group classes or just want to smash out a quick abs session but need that extra push, the gym offers 15-minute xpress classes in the workout zone. These can be focused on abs, circuit, functional, or roller training. The pool-based activities are among the most popular, ranging from water aerobics to float fit (try balancing on a board—then we’ll talk).
