If surfing is king at sea, on land the sport most associated with São Pedro do Estoril may even be pétanque. A practice rooted in the region for several decades, it was in the late 90s that the Clube de Pétanque de São Pedro do Estoril was formed there. It organizes regular tournaments and has a cafeteria/restaurant where socializing continues before, during and after the games.
