Olivier da Costa is a well-known name in Lisbon, thanks to the restaurant empire he has built over the past 20 years. His journey into Japanese cuisine led to the creation of Yakuza, first in Lisbon and later in Cascais, nestled within the Sheraton Cascais Resort in the idyllic Quinta da Marinha. With luxurious oriental décor, a sushi counter where chefs work their magic, and garden tables for al fresco dining, the menu is a showcase of quality and creativity. Highlights include the Sakana fish taco with guacamole, sashimi drizzled with various sauces (try the truffled ponzu), and the Kobe gunkan with wagyu, foie gras, caramelised onion, and teriyaki. On Wednesday evenings, there’s a live cooking experience, available by reservation (before 17.00).
