Honey, I’ve changed the Centre – not entirely, but at least the Cascais Visitor Center, a must-visit spot for those coming to town and wanting to make the most of Cascais. The Cascais Municipality’s tourist information centre has a new life, leaving behind all the history since it became a meeting point at the bay in July 2017. From the start, it has been the ideal place to discover what to do in Cascais, where to eat the tastiest snacks and where to enjoy the most relaxing nights.
But life is about change, and now it opens its doors to a new chapter, for all locals but especially for those visiting the town for the first time. It’s a strategic reformation that doesn’t lose its essence as a tourist information centre but now focuses on longer visits. The shop is more spacious, easier to browse, and simpler to choose any of the new products they have on display to treat your wardrobe. A bonus? The shelves are filled with pieces from local companies and artists, such as Quinta do Pisão or a surfboard made at DNA Cascais.

But not everything about the major changes at the Cascais Visitor Center is aesthetic. They have decided to take a 180-degree turn in their concept: they are the first to combine a tourist information point – in a prime location, which also counts – with a Coworking space. There's nothing better than taking a break, looking out the window, and seeing the bay, the beach and the sea.
In their spare hours, the centre can also transform into a space for conferences, presentations and launches. At the end of the day, it's not just a tourist center: it’s a home for those passing through, for those extending their visit, and for those making Cascais their residence, for a day or a lifetime.
