The British band Tindersticks, who have performed in Portugal numerous times over the years, are returning to the country to headline a night at the upcoming edition of Ageas Cooljazz. They will take to the stage at Hipódromo Manuel Possolo, in Cascais, on July 26th.
The group is set to present their latest album, Soft Tissue, released in September last year. This is Tindersticks’ 14th album, embracing experimental soundscapes and vulnerable lyrics while staying true to the band's exploratory nature.
In addition, the supporting act for the concert has been announced. Taking the stage first will be Portuguese band Ganso, who released their album Vice Versa last October. Tickets are already on sale, ranging from €30 to €45.
As Ageas Cooljazz celebrates 21 years, names like Seal, Benjamin Clementine, Masego, Ezra Collective, Slow J, Gilsons, and Jordan Rakei have already been confirmed. For the Cascais Jazz Sessions by Smooth FM, expect performances from Razy, Bokor, Isabel Rato Quinteto, and Beatriz Nunes.
