Once home to Sushi Design, the space now brings Japanese flavours into the spotlight once more – but this time as part of the restaurant’s main menu, blending them seamlessly with the international flair that’s become The Mix’s signature.
Under the guidance of executive chef Sebastian Fritye and sushi master Francisco Braga, The Mix presents a new menu that celebrates the meeting of Mediterranean and Japanese flavours, while paying homage to top-quality Portuguese produce – with a special focus on the fresh fish sourced straight from Cascais.
Among the main dishes, you’ll find highlights like the fish and seafood Tom Yum, grilled octopus, the much-loved The Mix rice, and a grilled entrecôte. There’s also plenty for those who love to share – think asparagus salad, grilled baby squid or prawn bao buns.
And don’t skip dessert: the nori seaweed mille-feuille, Paris-Brest or a refreshing mango and passionfruit entremet round things off beautifully.
The Sushi Moment features a handpicked selection of both classic and signature creations, available from Wednesday to Sunday, for both lunch and dinner. On the other days, you can always raise a glass with one of the bar’s refreshing cocktails and soak up the Atlantic views from one of the most scenic terraces on the coast.
Avenida Rei Humberto II de Itália 7, Cascais. Wed–Sun 7.30–10.30am, 12.30–3pm, 7–11pm. Sushi not served on Mondays or Tuesdays.
