The days go by, the heat occasionally makes an appearance, and we find ourselves daydreaming about Summer and the Santo Populares festivities. To tease our taste buds, the organisers of the Festas de Santo António de Tires, in São Domingos de Rana, have already announced the dates for 2025: from June 6th to 15th, you can expect the usual lively atmosphere, with music, food, drinks, and plenty of fun.

The bar is set high: last year, the stage was filled with familiar faces and voices, such as Quim Barreiros, Virgul, and Piruka. The lineup for this year has yet to be revealed.

The event, organised by the Grupo Recreativo e Dramático 1º de Maio, hasn't shared many details, but it is certain that over the nine days, entrance is free at this popular Portuguese festival – which even features traditional "marchas populares" – alongside dozens of food stalls, drinks, games, and rides, including rollercoasters, carousels, bumper cars, and other attractions for all ages.

Festas de Tires Grounds. June 6th-15th. Free entry
