Hotel Baía, one of the most well-known and historic hotels in Cascais, boasting a breathtaking view, completed its renovation works in May, following an investment of over two million euros. The interior decoration was handled by the Conceitos de Arte studio, which aimed to create an elegant and contemporary atmosphere while maintaining the original charm of the seaside hotel.
Additionally, the Blue Bar at the top of the building has reopened with a new menu featuring classic cocktails, mocktails, sangrias and milkshakes. You can also enjoy various snacks such as rissoles, bruschettas, salads, burgers, toasties or sandwiches. This area of the hotel has also been refurbished and now hosts DJ sets every Friday and Saturday.
The updates don't stop there. The ground floor terrace also offers new dishes to try, including healthy options like beetroot risotto with green asparagus (17€), tropical salad (16€), or smoked salmon salad (17€). You can also sample the squid and prawn skewer (19€), salmon fillet with moqueca sauce and sesame seeds (18€), seafood vol-au-vent (15€), veal pie with kumquat chutney (14€) or hazelnut brownie with cappuccino mousse (7€).
Some vegan dishes have also been added to the menu, such as the bowl with lentils, pumpkin, spinach, red cabbage, guacamole, and cherry tomatoes (19€); tofu moqueca (18€); and chickpea and vegetable curry with nut rice (18€).
Guests can also enjoy live music on the last Thursday of each month while sampling the creations of Chef Nuno Seixas. Brunch is still available on Sundays from 12.30 PM to 3.30 PM, priced at 29€ per person.
