A “unique and unprecedented” show. That is how the concert that Miguel Araújo and Os Quatro e Meia will perform on 22 June 2024 at the Hipódromo Manuel Possolo in Cascais has been described in a press release. The band from Coimbra revealed the news at the end of their show at the Altice Arena in Lisbon last weekend, but the official announcement was made last Thursday, 9 November – and tickets are already on sale.

The six members of Os Quatro e Meia are set to join Miguel Araújo and his musicians in a “one-off” concert that promises to include “the most famous songs” from both. According to the organisers, this on-stage collaboration is the result of mutual admiration.

In recent years, Os Quatro e Meia have become a real sensation on the national music scene. They have released two albums, O Tempo Vai Esperar (2020) and Pontos nos Is (2017). Miguel Araújo, on the other hand, made his name 20 years ago with Os Azeitonas and has since established himself as one of the most influential singers in contemporary Portuguese music. Last year he released the album Chá Lá Lá. Known for collaborating with other artists on stage (António Zambujo is his most famous musical companion), this time he's teaming up with Quatro e Meia.
