After Seal, Benjamin Clementine, Slow J, and the Gilsons, Ageas Cooljazz has just announced another headliner for its upcoming edition. Enter Masego, a Jamaican-born artist known for blending jazz, electronic music, and hip-hop — specifically the trap subgenre.

Tracks like "Tadow" and "Navajo", among many others from his nine albums, have won him a dedicated following, thanks to his distinctive sound and unique identity. Masego is not only a singer but also a multi-instrumentalist, playing saxophone, drums, guitar, and synthesizers. His latest project is his self-titled 2023 album.

Masego will take the stage on July 31st at the Hipódromo Manuel Possolo in Cascais. For now, he’s the only confirmed act for that day. Each festival evening will feature four performances, spread across Parque Marechal Carmona and Hipódromo Manuel Possolo, with opening concerts and DJ sets rounding out the nights.

Tickets to see Masego are already on sale, priced between €30 and €45.

Hipódromo Manuel Possolo. Jul 31st (Thu). €30-€45.
