The poster for the second edition of the Portuguese Coala Festival is still taking shape. On Tuesday, January 28th, the organisers announced two more acts: Lena d’Água and Ana Lua Caiano. The event will return to the Hipódromo Manuel Possolo in Cascais on May 31st and June 1st.

A veteran of the national pop scene, Lena d’Água made a comeback in recent years with a pair of acclaimed albums that have brought her back to the stage with force. It will be songs from Desalmadamente (2019) and Tropical Glaciar (2024), as well as classics like Sempre que o Amor Me Quiser and Demagogia, that will feature in the Coala Festival’s lineup.

Ana Lua Caiano, meanwhile, has proven herself as one of the safest bets in contemporary Portuguese music. Last year, she released her equally well-received debut album Vou Ficar Neste Quadrado, which cemented her short but very prolific career so far, taking her to perform across several countries with her blend of Portuguese popular music and electronic sounds.

Already confirmed for the Coala Festival are Liniker, Ney Matogrosso, Djodje, and Xande de Pilares performing Caetano Veloso's songs. General passes are on sale for €100, while VIP passes cost €200.
