Izakaya, led by Tiago Penão and Isaac Jorge Penão, has already secured its place in the heart of Cascais. Inspired by traditional Japanese izakayas, the restaurant blends authenticity with a modern touch, offering a truly unique dining experience. The chef curates an omakase menu for €65, serving a selection of dishes chosen by him. With fresh ingredients and a deep respect for Japanese tradition, every bite promises to transport guests straight to Japan.

Meanwhile, Conceito, in Bicesse, founded over 13 years ago by the talented chef Daniel Estriga, offers sophisticated and innovative signature cuisine. The restaurant is known for its ever-evolving menu, which changes with the seasons, ensuring no two experiences are ever the same and encouraging diners to return for new discoveries. The fine dining experience here shifts from time to time, inviting guests to explore different creations. Conceito offers two tasting menus: Essência, featuring five courses (€64), and Viagem, a complete experience with seven courses (€82).

In addition to these exciting new entries in the guide, the gala also celebrated the continued success of Fortaleza do Guincho, Midori, and Lab by Sergi Arola at Penha Longa Resort, all of which retained their Michelin stars.

With its outstanding culinary offerings, it’s no surprise that Cascais continues to establish itself as one of the country’s top gastronomic destinations.
