The Festa do Cinema Italiano has been expanding across the country, with different cities and towns hosting the festival. This year, Cascais will hold seven days of screenings from April 10th to 16th.
The Centro Cultural de Cascais will showcase Italian films such as Férias de Agosto by Paolo Virzì; Un Mondo a Parte by Riccardo Milani; Ennio, the Maestro by Giuseppe Tornatore; O Lugar do Trabalho by Michele Riondino; The Last Godfather by Antonio Piazza and Fabio Grassadonia; Ainda Temos o Amanhã by Paola Cortellesi; The Great Ambition by Andrea Segre; No Dogs or Italians Allowed by Alain Ughetto; Bon Schuur Ticino by Peter Luisi; Affirmative Pereira by Roberto Faenza; Vivi Nascosto by Guido Guidi; and Confessions by Daniele Luchetti.
The programme also includes a screening as part of the Greenfest sustainability event, taking place at the Centro de Congressos do Estoril, with the documentary Food For Profit - The Business of Food by Giulia Innocenzi and Pablo D’Ambrosi.
Additionally, there will be a cine-dinner at Casa de Santa Maria on the 14th, celebrating the centenary of actor Marcello Mastroianni. Attendees will watch A Special Day by Ettore Scola and sample dishes from the Italian restaurant Aqafarina.

Except for the dinner, which costs €50, all screenings of the Festa do Cinema Italiano in Cascais are free of charge, with tickets available for collection. The full programme, including all times, can be consulted on the official website of the event.
